Roberto's happy birthday fiesta in Asuncion

shari - 7-27-2010 at 11:19 AM

Many of you know our dear amigo and coworker Roberto. He has worked wonders here building homes and making rock patios, furniture etc. and his smile and terrific attitude has won the hearts of many.

His wife and girls are simply adorable and the whole family are....the bomb! I am honoured to know and work with them.

Yesterday he celebrated his 30th birthday surrounded by friends and family at the Tide Pool Bistro. Adrian & Sirena did up the fish tacos and oysters and the ladies provided amazing salsas.

It was a happy day full of great food, wonderful people, music, fun, tecate and even a campfire and arm wrestling.

Here is a slide show of the party for all of you who couldnt attend

oh yeah nena....ya gotta love cake faces which are a huge part of mexican birthdays after everyone starts yelling MORDIDA MORDIDA....which means you have to take a bite out of the cake at which point someone pushes your face into it...roberto only got a little shove so his girls made sure to spread more cake on his face anyway.

You're killin me here!! What fun!! Let's see, tomorrow's Wine Wednesday if I have it right?! Then there is some party on Thursday, I forget what for, then of course on needs to celebrate Friday in prep for Saturday and of course then there is the Sunday review party and the Monday celebrating the end of another day of work which leaves Tuesday and that must be someone's birthday?! I think I have that right.

Thank you Shari, for allowing us to be a part of so many wonderful fiestas...we now need a vacation from our vacation! :) And dear KAT, please, don't be "j" because you aren't invited to the fiestas. It isn't becoming. Perhaps you should try another approach?
