sunday would be the best day to come as the cabalgata is a sight to behold...over a hundred finely dressed horses & cowboys and girls...and the horse race that day will be awesome and the dance till sunrise is pretty darn fun too...besides, bajafam and the famous baja gypsies will be here then too!!!

Our town's Saint is Maria and we will celebrate the same days -- have not had a drop of rain since October and now the weatherman says we'll get rain the first day of the fiesta. Smart farmers around these parts -- it happens almost every year and the horse races are all the better for it and maybe better for the horses too because this heat with just the humidity makes you want to stay at the beach, close to the water. So if you're down south and can't make it to the Pacific side, you have a choice.
