Do you have a good one? We have fallen in love with Senor Guisados bisteak ranchero tacos and I want to make some at home.k

Here is the one i serve @ my catering events, Keri:

Turn your oven on and temp it to 425 degrees.
2 large white inions
2 large yellow onions
12 roma tomatoes
4 tomatillos
3 guajillo chiles
6 jalapeņos
6 gueros
If you find other fresh chiles, use them also for a total of 8-12 more.

Take each of the veggies and put them in individual foil pouches large enough that they can be sealed.
Drizzle olive oil on everything, sprinkle (liberally) salt and pepper and a light sprinkle of knorr chicken powder.

Seal all the veg tightly and bake in the oven for one hour, except for the tomatillos which youll bake for 20 minutes.

Take the meat...assuming 5 steaks, and sprinkle with salt, oregano, and a little cumin.
Then plan on marinating them for 2 days in the juices plus the cooked veggies that were in the oven and are now cooled.

Do not throw on a BBQ griddle!
Quick sear them on a very hot griddle aor about 1-1/2 to 2 minutes per side. Then turn off the heat, stack the steaks on top of each other and cover with tin foil for a few minutes.

Serve with salsa and guacamole, or cut them up taco-style with your choice of garnishes.

Now gloat!
