W & NW breeze 8/25

Don't pay attention to the inside temp. It's in a hot spot.
There is an unusual breeze this morning but it helps cool things a bit.
Bob & Susan do you get this?

Up here in the state of Jefferson, we are experiencing 102 again today, but 70s by the weekend. Similar rollercoaster weather happened last week as well.:?:

It was so hot today on the boat that the bait died of heat exhaustion and then melted. :tumble:

Russ, what's the highest "breeze" you have recorded with Mr. Davis... such a cool tool...

Last year Jimena (sp) 75mph. I was told that there were higher gusts but no one else had a meter. That's just what they thought. After 8 or more hours of that hurricane settling over us there was a lot of damage. More typically it would pass in 4 hours or so.

My anemometer recorded 90mph gusts during a strong chubasco in the 70's at Coyote Bay. Before locals started calling them hurricanes I guess.

Same storm we sailed a 32ft Brown trimaran at 24 knots coming into the Bay..what a day that was! A stout shot of rum sure hit the spot later...
