The post on the zopilote is important so I started a new thread so as not to interfere. I would be careful with the feeding. If you must regurgitate
the food, go easy on that because I overdid it on a fledgling petrel with some unintended consequences: beak wounds on my palate and of course after
the bird could fly, returned to the wild I was left with some bad stuff: I can't look a sardine, anchove or shad in the fish eye and for a while my
automatic feeding habit made me an awful dinner companion. I'm just saying.

Thank God you didn't have to breast feed it as well, Oh that Beak would leave a mark.
