Remember the Missing Dad?

Gypsy Jan - 8-30-2010 at 12:09 PM

This morning, I received an email from the Baja Times, offering to sell me an ad in the "news"paper at a reduced rate, because they were concerned about and wished to help me locate "my missing father".

Firstly, I am appalled and disgusted by the sheer grasping greed implicit in this "offer to help".

Secondly, this email came to my own personal, self-ID'd email address and my email about this sad situation that was sent to my personal list clearly identified the name of the daughter that was searching for information on her father, so the Baja Times gets a big FAIL in reading comprehension.

Truly amazing how hungry they are for subscriptions and the ability to find a potential customer...

...so for those of us who don't read an entire post before replying.....

How long has he been missing?

Here's the thread....give her a break. She said she's doing her best to give info.
It's her father and has to be tough on her.
Said she has photos and will scan and send on Monday when she has that ability.
