Those guys may have a future in the sport? I think that first one is woody's secret spot right in front of trump tower? saw a log float by?

we were told of the then secret spot in the mid 80's while surfing puerto escondido, oax. "salina cruz gets good," they said..... we had no need to
wander back then as all the fun you ever wanted to have was right out in front.

yep no need to leave. we were just down in baja sur and a few other surfers were trying to talk us in to going to scorp. (3 hours away) - but why
, with 4-7' surf at a dozen breaks out front and only a dozen surfers in town.

With the athleticism that these guys have and how popular surfing is on a worldwide basis, it is hard to believe it is not an Olympic sport yet.

just like 85% of al contests worldwide the olympics will probably have waist high surf for the gold medal round.....
