I need recomendations on the best place to stay in the Guadalupe Wine country the first week in October. We will need three rooms. Thanks in advance.

If money is little or no object, I'd recommend Adobe Guadalupe.

Additionally, I recall, that someone left a post that they can stay at their ranch for free for babysitting it. Do a search and you may come up with
it.

We've stayed there several times since we wrote this post three years ago, but the place is still excellent: nice rooms, good prices, great pool,
outstanding restaurant. Check out Posada Inn. We were there a few weeks ago for a Vendimia event; it's still great.
