We had quit the blow & light show this morning at 4am. Had to get up and secure the the patio stuff so I just stayed up to watch the show. As
soon as I had everything put away and the majority of doors & windows closed and the coffee on the storm fizzled out. Long wait now for the
sunrise. It must be getting closer to fall.

Sure is pretty... thanks.. funny had the same thought the other morning getting up to fix coffee... seem a bit darker .... but, would imagine that is
good for you... should be getting some cooling.. we have a fog bank on us again this morning.. .
But, the sun will burn off the marine layer.. which will keep the temps down
See up at the other place it's going to be 100º in Mission Viejo, CA today.. but, its a dry heat...

Thunder and Lightening Storm in the Night
Four years post-Hurricane John, 2 a.m. the hour of the flooding of Mulege River:
Watched its dramatic, angry flash over on the mainland, then grow and growl across the SOC. Within a few hours there was a large, dark expanse of
night-sky overhead and hot, hot wind blowing from the north-east; then.... deep, resonating thunder followed by an hour of hard, heavy raindrops.
By morning it was all but a dream... here in Baja, land where reality is far more grand than any of our mere imaginings.
