Nat. Ann is correct you've got alot of posts in a short amount of time, I've been a Nomad for quite abit longer than you but not near the posts, I'm more of a reader than a writer. Get away from the keyboard a little more often is my advise, but no reason to leave because one person doesn't like what you have to say. Osprey gave me crap one time saying since I was a newbie I should learn to use the search option, well I "schooled" him with my response and never heard another word. Keep posting...it's all good.

My politics, writing and perspective are always greeted with open arms and Cumbias around the camp fire. We all hug here each night and think good thoughts of each other. Why Skeet and I are even planning a Brokeback Mountain meeting, he has the horses, I have the horsepower.

This is the dance that Skeet and I do around the campfire before we retire. I know Osprey knows this one too and look forward to sharing warm evenings with him practicing these moves. I can see he has already made the opening moves in this dance, you just missed it. Some can be easily insulted by the initiation of a Cumbia.

I know there are other wonderful Cumbia dancers on this site who would be most happy to soothe you in your hour of pain. I have found Dennis particularly good at it. Evinstar is a master Cumbia practitioner as are others who will go unnamed. I am told, by a secret source, but who am I to spread rumors, that even our esteemed BajaNomad moderator is a secret Cumbia dancer.

I bet I could start a thread of how best to BBQ meat and get into an argument over which is better gas or charcoal and the best unit to buy.

You also got guys that like to argue, troll, or are just unhappy and want to get into an argument. You could also come across over some members that really do have a different opinion that you, and will fight tooth and nail to win the argument.

The best thing to do is develop thick skin or don't enter controversial threads like politics where there is always heated disagreements.

See this is a good example of a insult you shouldn't have to put up with. It's not a bad insult, so I could have just ignored it too, and I do often ignore posts, because ignoring a troll does work at times. I see he has some "alarmist" positions about Mexico, probably because he reads the stories more often than he lives in Mexico.

I also see he got his panties in a bunch over some Mexican mayor handing out Viagra, and Condoms to the cities citizens. I find that funny, but Iflyfish didn't like it. He probably has a little bit of sexual repression going on cause he is old, and perhaps doesn't like my online personality because of it?

I have enough now to have a field day on Iflyfish, but since it's just a little dumb remark he made. I just using this as example of something I might do to respond back to someone like Iflyfish, and it's something the OP might use next time somebody is trolling him, and he feels like quitting this forum.

It's lack of body language. Newbies haven't gotten to know the personalities yet, so I can see why sometimes things get taken the wrong way. We were all "newbies" once and it has happened to all of us. Well, me at least, way back in the olden days. :biggrin:

Mulegemichael, it's not "overreaction" what I'm doing it's giving my opinion on a topic in this thread with an example what I sometimes do.

And when things really get heated what's wrong with finding somebody's achilles' heel and applying pain to it repeatedly until they are blubbering mess?

Of course the correct thing to do is PM a MOD or site owner, but I detest crybabies, especially when half the time their complaints half to do with honest disagreements over an issue.
Besides I don't know how your site owner or MODs work if you have any. It seems like they run a pretty loose ship here, and some here definitely take it too far, but I also see many here got banned, and from what I see that's a good thing.

Remember what I said, Mtgoat devil it's a big universe out there, and the whole universe doesn't revolve around "BN" there are some people like myself who have come from other worlds(forums) but has gotten to know a few of your ex-members in other places.
