I am not even sure if this is how to post.... I have only replied a few times. technically a virgin poster. I also know that this question has been
discussed elsewhere, but I am not real sure where to find it, so here it goes. Is there ultra low sulfur diesel in san felipe? How bout GN or Mulege?
thanks. what was the outcome on, if the mexican diesel hurt these new pickups? I ran alot of liters of mexican fuel through my 01 dodge, I think it
helped it reach 250,000 miles with no problems. the dealers make ya a little nervous about the new engines.
Also, I am taking a small trip from Gonzaga area, to Mulege. any ideas, advice or wise cracks welcome.

Baja Norte has had Ultra Low Diesel for a few years*... No guarantee on Baja Sur, apparently... Low sulfur, but perhaps not Ultra low... However Baja
Nomads with diesels who live in Baja Sur, like Bob & Susan, have not had problems at all... per their posts.

I have almost 400,000 miles on my 2000 Dodge diesel. I am guessing 100,000+ of those are in Baja. I have had zero problems...but she's an old gal

the baja diesel works just fine in new diesels

That's not what the Dodge mechanics tell me when I frequently bring my 2008 Diesel in for re-calls and repairs. I also have a 94 Dodge diesel with
over 200k that has never been to the shop for anything but oil changes. They tell me not to get rid of it and if I do to give them first shot at
buying it.

Thanks all. Being a "future" old gal myself, I agree they are the best. I loved my older dodge, although this new one is REAL nice. quiet, a little
less rough, and the clutch is like butter. I am hoping you all are right on the diesel issue, 49 days and counting, I will give it a try for myself.
Will be interested to see how it rides on what is left of "that road".
