I'm needing to swap out some batteries and would like to find out if they can be had in Ensenada or do I need to get them stateside and import them
as I head down. If they are available is the price going to be more than buying in US + import fee?

Check out Costco, selling 6volt golf cart batteries for $75, my next move is I can't get my Trojans to de-sulphate.

Thanks, I'll check out Costco on my way through next week. My preference is Trojan but at twice the cost I wonder if they'll last twice as long???

Recently researched this battery (T-105) as my golf cart runs on 6 of them, which now need to be replaced. They held a good charge up until this
year. They are 1996 vintage ... both the tech and I were very surprised about how old they were. He hadn't seen any in service that old.
I ran into those that recommended an alternative to Trojan, usually Interstate, but the cost savings wasn't as great as what you seem to be looking
at. At $75 per battery, that's pretty cheap.
I plan to replace with T-105's, simply because of the longevity I got with the prior ones. Yep, it will cost me about $140 per unit.

I always kept my original batts on a trickle charger in winter when not in use and checked water level regularly. So I took good care of them. This
last winter, had a power outage that lasted 56 hours, and the fuse in the charger pooped. I didn't find this condition until later, and I think that

This site might be informative to some that do not know about Lead acid battery desulfation.
I have two Trojan T 105 6 volt batteries in Our View motor home.
I wonder what you are using this on?
I have recently replaced my charger with a Dynamic "Inteli" Charger that periodically provides pulsed charge to prevent sulphation from occuring. I
have yet to see if it removes the sulphates.
Anyone else used this in a similar configuration to mine? I am afraid of blowing out my new charger??
If this device works for me as it has for you it will be well worth the investment. The PDF file lists it at $48. I find it on ebay for $148.

In 2003 we bought 16 T-105s. We only paid $50/battery (quite a deal!). Those batteries were still going strong this year, but we decided to upgrade
to 10 Crown CR-395 L-16s. Pretty pricy, but with 8 BP SX 3200B Solar panels and an Outback MX60 Charge Controller, we didn't think we were getting
the maximum storage capacity for the panels and the controller. Those batteries were still in such good condition that we gave them all to our
caretaker, who was absolutely thrilled, and has more power for his casa than he ever imagined!... We're happy... he's happy... good result!
