The person we bought the lot from keeps telling us to bring our own electrical service outlet box for temporary service to the fifth wheel from the
state with us.
Here in Idaho, when you have power in the ground or overhead Idaho Power has to send out their company people. Electrician can have a junction box set
up with the correct voltage where all the correct electrical pieces and parts.
Duane and the electricians he works with in the state do not know what is required in Mexico.
Is there anyone out there that has knowledge and can shed some light on why we should bring a junction box for temporary service? What are the rule
and regulation for Mexico or is there any? What is the difference of a H Z?

maybe the cost is outrageous in baja? why can't you just bring one down?

I bought a power pole in Bahia de los Angeles. It is 120/240v 60a pole, it came with the pole, meter/main breaker box w/ main breaker, conduit riser
with wire and weather head, and a ground wire w/ ground rod. For about $140. I had to dig the hole, pour the concrete, and drive the gound rod prior
to making an appointment the the utility to connect.
The only thing I would do differently is bring down my own Meter/Main box, because the one with the pole is of very poor quality.

P.S. You can buy the pre-fab poles at Home Depot in Mexico.
