It's been about 5 years since my last Baja adventure. I'm planning another trip in 2011. Last time I crossed at Tecate, I found the little bank across
from the border station very handy for the tourist card fee. Now I gather this bank is permanently closed? If so, can you pay the fee at any

My problem last Monday at the Tecate BANCOMER was that the line was out the door. I'm guessing it would have been and hour + wait.
