Shrimp season started Sept. 18th I believe. From what I have heard it looks to be a real good season. Shrimp coming in large and tasty.

Started the 18th but is going to be expensive this year. The jumbos came in the first day at 105 pesos per kilo right off the boat to a reseller. Now
they are up to 140 per kilo. He says they expect them to be at 220 per kilo by December. Good news is that they are plentiful this year.
BTW- if you are going to buy, wait until the pangas come in. Usually part of the crews pay is shrimp and they will sell it cheaper than you can buy it
off the street.

Well, that's a bit more than we've paid in the past, but so is the gas for the pangas, etc. Still it is much cheaper than here is the US and they are
