First off, Greetings all. Nice website and forums, who is the creator?
Secondly, Are there any friends in the El Alamo area that we might leave some equipment or vehicle at their place. Seems like several years ago there
were organized Geologicial tours that went to El Alamo to visit some of the old mines, does anyone have experience there (Other than just passing
through).
Lastly, I have a lot of photos of my trips off the beaten path in Baja, is there a seperate place to post them in this forum?

Welcome! Geology of Baja is awesome... and there is lots of gold laying around (I hear)...
This web site is the creation of Doug Means (who is 'Baja Nomad'), a good guy!
'Max in Yuma' (aka 'McGyver') may have some details on the El Alamo area.
There is a seperate forum for photo posting, but make sure the file size is under 50kbs (read Doug's notes on posting photos). Another option is to
make a web site to house the photos on or if you cannot, I can make a web site for your photos. See my 'Contributed Photos' section at http://VivaBaja.com

Thanks David,
I'll give those guys a shout. Are you the same David that sent me an email a few weeks back?
Don't know, maybe?

I send lot's of emails... I get lot's from people who read the board but ask questions in emails. What did you email me about?
The only 'Tad' I believe I know was a friend of Choral Pepper hunting for the Diaz grave and Choral has a chapter mentioning him in her
yet-to-be-published book I have.

Tad, EL Alamo only has 3 full time residents left, they are all nice people, talk to "OSCAR" who lives in the house on the street that is futherest to
the east and about the middle of that row of houses.
Also the man that has all the equiptment at the end of the airstrip will more than likely let you store your truck there.
Every one else has gone "Ourta Ladra" I think is what they say.
