The food bank thrift store can use any household goods or clothes that you care to donate if you are coming down this way. All household items get
sold and the money is used to feed over 600 families in San Felipe.
Any clothes, shoes or accessory donations get sold and that money is used to fund our programs for handicapped children. We have a therapy room and
our programs provide physical therapy, reflexology and reiki. We also have an equine therapy program 3x's per week. We also help with diapers,
formula, Dr visits, lab tests and evaluations.
We have a day labor program if you live here and need a worker for a 1/2 day, a day or a few days. The day labor program is only to help find labor.
We don't make any money and the laborers do not work for the food bank. We just introduce people who need work to those who need work done.
We also have a new program called Guiding Lights. Similar to the Big Brother/Big Sister programs in the US. If you live here and would like to
volunteer for that please see us to sign up. You must speak fluent Spanish and pass a background check for that program.
Thanks in advance. |
