Thanks for posting this preview Ken, looks like a very interesting film. Not sure where to find it? Looks too artistic for Blockbuster and besides they just closed their local store. :(

You can find it though Netflix...either getting the DVD or through instant download/streaming if you have a player capable of that.

i just added an Insignia Blu-Ray player to my home theatre with netflix streaming cabability via wi-fi connection to my linksys router's network.
wow! therefore my blockbuster subscription ends this month.
streaming is the only way to go. and no added cost like with Directv's instant watch pay per view movies.

Ken, must say I have really been impressed by the film makers down in Mexico... I can't understand, but one can follow, as the directors do an excellent job in my opinion...

First really got bit with Mexican films bug by El Mariachi, my wife's grandmother RIP, used to watch everything in Spanish, no English... which included movies too... but, her genera was mostly romantic stories and the soap's so for many years I did not really pay attention to film in Mexico... but it changed..

A couple of folks have given me links to movies.. which have been really, really good.. I like there editing much better than the "new" way of Hollywood.. and I really like that they shoot on location, use real people, real bars, real hoars.. they just go in a shoot... and get it right ... that's the way it looks, sounds, and if they had smell, it would be there too... it comes through as real ..

An industry which is really very interesting, along with Mexican artists.. there are some very unique and adventurous new styles which due to Mexican culture are really quite striking in composition and subject matter.. plus the use of bold colors is something which I like also ..

Thanks for the heads up on another movie... will check it out..

BG has some really just "super" videos done for each state in Mexico .. they are promotional for each state... I'm sorry I don't have a link I can put up.. maybe we can get BajaGrino to share... here if he has not already... super job on these video's.. just super...

All I can say is, "Wow" that is one film I will likely purchase on DVD. Another for my Father-in-law, someone who LOVES Accordion music like the Vallenato sound of Northern Colombia.

Rent it, stream it, whatever you have to do. This movie shows the intensity the people of Colombia share in their pursuit of the Arts and of their homegrown Vallento music. Like how us Americans take sports seriously, the children there grow up striving to be the next 'bajista', and 'accordionista' starting in the music academies when most children here start kindergarten.

Sorry Ken, stand corrected on the source of this film... as I'm watching right now.. and looked up the information on the making of the film and found exactly what you posted...

Then I will also include the Columbia's also.. as this is thus far is really very good.. again, like the Directors shots... and editing which is coming through at this moment...

Same ... on location, great camera angels and a story which is starting... they are in a canoe on a river in the very being .... again thanks..

If you have netflix .... you can watch it online... I'm streaming through a PS3 to my tv... super

If your blocked try a IP blocker... Hotspot shield it's free with some downsides, but will allow access to the library of films available online through the service.... of Netflix..
