We'll be spending a week in Loreto during the Baja 1000 pitting for the "winning" KTM team and about 20 other bikes. Since I have not been there since
'06 I'm sure things have changed a bit. I need some input on where to find a good breakfast. We'll be at Hacienda suites that is "next to Domingos".
Anything within walking distance? There used to be a really good place across the street from a little internet place that was really good, Maria's

I believe the Santa Fe hotel, on the other side of Domingo's, has breakfast. Pretty hard to screw up breakfast, unless they're really bad.
And you likely may get to listen to a sales spiel from the Villa folks!!

Unless they change policy for the race crowd, Hacienda Suites had been offering a complementary buffet breakfast included in the room rate. Stuff like
huevos Mexicanos, chilaquiles, and cereal and toast. They also have a regular menu from which you can order. Their restaurant is inside the main
entrance opposite the front office. We've eaten breakfast there many times over the years. Have noticed local businessmen in there for breakfast, as
well.
As for the Santa Fe, I just have a problem in patronizing the corporate run place instead of a local family business.Howard - 10-25-2010 at 06:41 PM

I didn't realize Hacienda served a regular breakfast, I was thinking continental style, so good to know.
We went to Ole a couple of times on our '04 trip and was not impressed. I guess we were looking for someplace other than where (it seemed to me) the
"beautiful gringos" hung out to sip their coffee. We had found a great (more authentic, better food and cheaper) place but don't know if it's still
around and I don't remember the name. I do remember where it was though!
Will check out Vamos and Islas.
