Going to Yuma/Los Algodones

Visitor - 10-27-2010 at 01:48 PM

I am driving from Northern Cal to Yuma to go to the dentist in Los Algodones. Would be happy to take a passenger in exchange for a dental buddy.

Bob----you have too much time amigo...hahahaha

can you help me find a video clip of Ragg Mopp?

you should park in lot on US side and walk across unless you are going further south. all of the dentists are less than 1 block away.

Yes, that's my plan. I was hoping for a buddy togo from N Cal to Yuma and in case I needed some extra support from the dental work.

if it's bad enough to have to come back on second day you can drive across and stay in San Louis de Rio Colarado, instead of Yuma (way cheaper). That's what I do when I'm picking up a case or 2 of Vodka at purple liquor store/pharmacy (way cheaper then Ensenada or Duty free). then I stay on MX side and drive back to Tecate- Ensenada.:coolup::coolup:

If your tooth is hurting already, get some antibiotics to rid yourself of any infection. They can't do anything for 3 days til the infection is cleared up !!

Thanks!

are you interested in going to TJ at all ? I have a dentist there who has been my dentist for almost 20 years .... easy to get to walking across the border or driving .... wonderful guy - his motto is NO PAIN and I like that and my kids did too :tumble:

Visitor check your messages, I just sent you one regarding the trip.

DR SAMUEL GOMES - fluent in English - I cannot recommend him highly enough, the man was BORN to be a dentist. Spotlessly clean. very professional. and like I said NO PAIN is his modus operandi. My kids never had a problem going to a dentist thanks to him.

His dental clinic is across from the wax museum, and near the huge arch as you cross into TJ. Unmissable. He has told us that there is only one safe paid parking lot about 1 block from his office, it is right next to the fire station. There is a antique car for show in the parking lot. Somewhere I have a photo, if I can find it I will add it here.

phone# 011 52 664 685-4095
address: Avenida Mexico 8236. Just head for the arch across Revolution. It is the street leading up to it.

If you have an infection - hit the anitbiotics before you go, if you can. It will save time.

Thanks. I have an appt with my dentist here on monday so if I have infection I will definitely get some meds for that before I go . Thanks for the info! I am still leaning towards Los Algodones
