one of the political parties in the oposition, the PRI, has decided to go with someone with a new face, young, just 30, and a very nice person. If he
wins, he would be the youngest gobernor in recent history. So all of you foreign born mexican citizens, pay attention.

Aspirants for public office in cities, such as La Paz, are tainted with "Gubernatorial Original Sin." They take on a momentous task to prove they are
not part of the problem from day one rather than in retrospection of their track record.
It seems to be poetic justice in a way....city administrators falling under the fist of, "Guilty until proven innocent."

I'm really not up to speed on local BCS politics, and know nothing about this young man, but, historically, was it not the PRI that represented that
very same "vested few families" ideology?
