Hi..welcome to Nomads. I could find no email for you on your Nomad profile?

Seems like a good price for that unit.

I could take a couple photos for you and post here if it would help your cause..? But..I don't know where it is parked.

Has anyone heard from dmccarthy?

Russ - 11-8-2010 at 01:39 PM

It's been a week and he's not made any attempt to answer or inform us of a sale??

BajaNomad - 11-8-2010 at 04:10 PM

On Saturday (11/6) I received an inadvertent email with the following photo attachment of this unit.

So, for your review:

Maybe he's giving it to you, Doug.
That looks pretty nice for the price. Also looks large enough to have more than one bedroom.
Something fishy going on here??

Are "Fleetwood" and "Wilderness" the same thing?

.

In my experience, a park model usually has a sliding glass door and USUALLY does not have holding tanks. They are intended for hook up directly over septic systems and other utilities. They also often have a front "lounge" area with extra windows for good viewing.

Not sure about the 10 foot width, Mike. But the ones I've been in never seemed that wide (excluding slide-outs).

DENNIS - 11-8-2010 at 05:15 PM

Wouldn't a 10' beam be a "Permit Load" on the roads and 8' 6" the max?

Howard - 11-8-2010 at 06:30 PM

Does anyone see the 2 slide outs?

No, but if it has them, they wouldnt be on the side with the doors.

Slide outs were not common in 1996.

Fleetwood has made several lines of RVs over the years.

They are also set up to use 120vac, mostly, with little or no 12vdc lights or power built in.

My Weekend Warrior was manufactured by FleetWood as well...

Doug

Thank you for the additional photo. Do you have more photo's or any idea how to contact the seller?

capt. mike - 11-9-2010 at 06:01 AM

thx Hook.
nice trailer tho.
i always thot "park" meant one u connect to somewhat permanently in a trailer court designed for mgfd homes and so called trailers that are single wides but 10' x 40' usually. you move them and pull the wheels and axels once set up.

Also Park Models do not come with gas refrigerators unless special ordered that way. Usally no holdng tanks at all unless after-market.Yes, many have only one bedroom.
