If your a female. I'm sure that in TJ you'll have no problems getting 'free' dancing lessons. Just head down to the bar's.;););););)
On a more serious side. Have you considered senior centers? They sponsor dancing lessons, and usually no cost, or maybe $5.00 an evening.

A while back, we had a new poster who was going to give dance lessons in TJ. [either that or I'm having a really bad dream]
Anyway, don't know what happened to him.
Can you get ahold of the TJ Yellow Pages? If they're legit, I'm guessing they would advertise. There are around ten who advertise in the Ensenada YPs.

Being taught to dance is like being taught to walk. Some folks can dance and some folks can't, but most folks can walk. Have always been able to walk, but dancing is something I excell at. And I do tell a lie every now and then.:biggrin:

My wife from Colombia had to laugh when she saw couples dancing the Bachata at an event this past summer. Way too intricate to look like fun. In Colombia, couples do a very uncomplicated dance back and forth to Salsa. Here in the US, it is all about spins, twirls, etc.:barf:

Salsa definitely takes rhythm, but I would stick with the elements of the dance rather than trying to look like "Dancing With The Stars".

Good one Ken :lol::lol:

A coworker from Peru went with her good friend to Sevilla to Salsa dance, and she said and saw the exact same thing. People pretending to be on Dancing With The Stars doing these elaborate spins, and moves across the dance floor.

She told me, "In Peru, NOBODY danced like that! That must be an American thing!" :lol:

So true.

He does rock. I did a double take at first. No need for a handicap placard there!

don't you love it when you ask a simple question and you get everything but a simple answer? Contact these folks rosaritotango@yahoo.com.mx -- they speak english. They can direct you to someone in TJ.

keep in mind
