A large portion of Coyote Bay...but not quite all.
2 views above of Coyote Bay camping beach today. As you can see, lots of room for campers..and sailors, too.

This is our favorite camping spot in all of Baja... thanks for the photos Roger! You can walk the 'old road' right there below the new road. And,
there are petroglyphs nearby to see!

I was in the area a couple of weeks ago and tried to drive to coyote bay but the road going to the camping area (after the first few palapas) was
under water. It didn't look too deep and it was around the time of the last full moon. Is this just a high tide thing or is the road always submerged

Only at high tide..and the roadway is always pretty firm. If you must travel through the saltwater, best to wash off your running gear once through

Just park, have a brew, take a swim, and wait a little while and it will be high and driy (well, sorta dry, anyway). The wait is worth it.

Are there any accommodations to rent for an overnight....travelling by motorcycle with a sleeping bag ???
Simple and basic is good...and any food available?....Or is there another bay along that stretch that has a palapa and a bed...and a food source
besides turtle soup?
Mid February is time of need as I pass by ...may need for two people...Not sharing the same bed
