Vamos a Pescadero

Curt63 - 11-11-2010 at 08:37 AM

First, Happy Veterans Day Nomads! I honor your service to our great Constitution!

I served in the US Army '85 - '87. My father was USMC in WWII and engaged in intense combat on Okinawa.

I'm off to Pescadero this morning for 5 days.

Lots of firsts for this trip.

First baja airport and flight (Volaris)
First time bringing my wife
First time staying in a "resort"
First time without a pack of "dudes"

I would welcome any suggestions you may have for me.

Stay tuned for trip report.

Cheers, Curt

Resort?? Ohh. Rancho Pescadero. Very trendy! Pedicure, manicure, body wax?! Watch out for the local surfers & Real Estate pimps! Just kidding. Say hi to Brianda & Carlitos & enjoy the Mariscos & fish tacos! I loved your travel article from earlier this year . Smiles, Tio:coolup::cool:

Say Hi to Hawaiian George at Rancho Pesacdero. Their sunday brunch is one of the best. Felipes on the Hwy just north of town for a great chile relleno and entertainment, and Carlitos in town for great fish.

In 1998 we had a Caravelle?? land/ crash north of town/ Bythe time people started checking it out--sunday morning drive as we heard a large plane buzz town-- the plane was off loadde3d and heavy machinery half covered up the plane/load!! The newspaper article is on the wall at Shut U[p Franks!! Never recovered the load. Hope Volaris is a little bit safe3r! I heard they laid out the soccer fields with bags of Coacaine?Gooool!!!!! Que piensas, tu? Si, se puede. Tio
