I am thinking about driving south through the Malecon in Ensenada on Race Day around 8AM. Can you drive through there? I wanted my wife to see the
festivities. Has anyone been there then that can comment?

I used to live right in that area, near the Riviera, and after the race started and all classes had taken off, the road was open for traffic and I
don't recall any hang-ups.
That was a while back. Today...not real sure, but probably the same.

They use the Southbound lanes for North and South traffic and close the Northbound lanes for the race vehicles. You can drive through but be prepared
to be patient....dt

You can do it, but you have to drive really fast to keep up with the racers.
