Can't for the life of me figure out the point of the article. When you have 15 murders or suspicious deaths in 4 1/2 years, given the vast number of Canadians that either visit or live part or full time in Mexico, the number is statistically insignificant. Seems like someone just wanted to stir up bad publicity about the drug war.

How about asking how many Canadians died from murder or suspicious circumstances in the United States during the same period.

Mexico bashing?

Who cares. More importantly, how many Canadians died on skateboards last year?

What a gruesome, meaningless thread.

Baja Guy I just plugged mexico into your website, Canada has two pages, mostly car accicents , drowing, sucide, and no homicides.

Mexico has 404 pages, for the same period. lots of car accidents, drowing, and homicides.

I would say Canada has by far safer roads to travel on and no homicides , by far the safer country to visit.

Mexican poutine, also referred to as carne asada fries, consists of fries, carne asada, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and pico de gallo. It is frequently served with hot sauce.

Good news 1. New Zealand

mcfez - 11-18-2010 at 10:32 AM

The “Land of the Long White Cloud” boasts rolling green hills, impressive mountains and icy glaciers. New Zealand is home to modern, multicultural cities such as Auckland and Wellington, and its thriving aboriginal Maori community is active in all facets of society. Flying somewhat under the radar of many travelers, little New Zealand is also a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies The nation is considered the World’s safest thanks in part to Kiwi society’s high respect for human rights and lack of hostility toward foreigners, along with the low risk of political instability and internal conflict.
