For the last several months I have had problems uploading pictures- mostly due to size ie most way over the 50kb size limit. A couple of days ago I
found a free download that is easy to use and works great. I went to www.download.net. On that site I searched on "resize picture." There are several choices but if you scroll down you'll find "photoscape". It took
me about 3 minutes to download it and another 2 minutes to figure out how it works. Works great for me. Ron

If you are into digital photography or just getting into it, Costco (in the USA) has a coupon this month for Photoshop Elements 9 for $30 off.
I use Photoshop CS5 and Elements does about 75% of what CS5 does and I think it will be $50 or so with the discount.
This software does many things besides reducing jpegs, and no it is not free, but a great value.
I think you can download a copy for free for 30 days to try it out to see if you would use it.
Enjoy

Photos do not need to be under 50 kbs if they are linked to Nomad from another web site, such as a personal web page or photo hosting site, such as
Photobucket.com.
What Nomad does ask is that photo size be not over 800 x 600 pixels, so the page won't get stretched sideways for those with 15" monitors.
Photobucket has pre-sizing of photos available that you choose before uploading from your computer (click 'more options').
When the photos are linked from another site, you can put several photos in a single post, with captions between them.
The under 50 kb rule is for using the 'Browse' button to upload a single photo from your PC directly onto Nomad.
