Artesanos is open from 9am to 2pm, Mon to Sat.
For a REAL treat, go on Saturday at 11;30 when Senora Carmen is selling her home made tamales in the courtyard of Artesanos. 12 pesos each and you
wont be sorry. She sells out by about 1pm, so go early for best selection - pork, chicken, cheese. I was invited to her primitive (but clean)
kitchen where she stays up all night on Friday making these things. She doesn't speak English, but tell her you saw her name on the Internet. She

I thought that they just closed for a couple of hours in the afternoon and then re-opened???

They used to close from 2 til 4 for almuerzo and then re-open. However they eliminated the late afternoon hours about a year ago. Now they close for
the day at 2pm.
