San Felipe to Puertecitos

Planning on visiting Puertecitos while in San Felipe for a couple of weeks. Driving an FJ Cruiser with 4 wheel drive. Not expecting any issues, but thought I would ask. Also, what's the gasoline situation south of San Felipe?

The highway is paved to Puertecitos, but not a high speed road (steep dips/ vados)... 55 miles 1.5 hours. Top your tank in San Felipe... New station in Puertecitos was reported open and station at Gonzaga Bay, about 50 miles further south usually open except from 2-4 (siesta/ lunch).

No Premium south of San Felipe on Mex. 5. Regular 87 octane works great in my Tacoma (4.0 V-6)

Thank David. I'll top the tank in San Felipe. The FJ is happiest on 91 octane, although it would make the run back on 87, in a pinch.

Thanks again!

10-4, my 4.0 just loves the Pemex 87... gives me over 19 mpg on the highway... I can't do that on U.S. ethynolled gas!
