Is there a RV park in between Don Posada's in Vicente Guerrero and Bahia de Concepcion? Last year we stayed at Malarrimos in Guerrero Negro. We don't plan to leave Don Posadas until afternoon and, as I recall, Malarrimos is about 275 miles south of Don Posadas. If possible, we would like to only go about 200 miles that day. We have a 31 ft motorhome and will be towing a car. Thanks Ron

rancho santa ines in catavina is the closet thing to a rv park.

Thanks. I haven't stayed there. Do they have room for an rv and towed car? We'll only be there one night in route to Mulege. Ron

A bit south of the Desert Inn you will find the turn to the Rancho on the left. You follow the road into the Rancho and then left into a very large parking area. There is tons of room to park and "pull thru" with your RV and tow car.
They serve simple meals and have basic bathrooms.
Someone from the Rancho will come collect $ after you arrive.
The place is fairly quiet and secure.

Lots of space, flush toilet (M and F) and all for $7 per night. Rule is to stay here only if there are other campers.

Have you ever heard of a problem there ? We haven't.
We have stayed there alone or with 1 other, many times.

Thanks for the responses. Guess I'm losing my memory. We actually stayed there last year on our return from Cabo but forgot about it. Ate at the little on site restaurant and had a pretty good burrito. Thanks for refreshing my memory. Ron

I think a better option is the SinAhi RV park in El Rosario. It is around $15 and I believe it has full hook ups. The restaurant in front is pretty darn good.

It's a nicer than the places in Catavina and you do not have to push as far as Catavina.

Howard- thanks. I still might do Catavina since we want to get to Bahia de Concepcion at a reasonable time the next day but is the park in El Rosario right off the hwy and is it well marked? Finally, it is easy to get in and out of in a 31' motorhome with tow. Thanks again. Ron

I made the map in 2006, so some businesses have changed names... But the Sinahi Motel and RV Park are right behind the Bocana Beach Restaurant (also may be re-named Sinahi Restaurant now).

Just seems to me that if you are committed to staying at Posada Don Diego, it would make little sense to stay over next in El Rosario. They are only about an hour apart. Catavina make more sense in that it is about 1/3 of the way between El Rosario and Guerrero Negro.

Can't beat DK's map but it is an easy in and out. Always nice to have options in traveling Baja because you never know if you will be running on time, early or late.

One of my favorite words in the English language is OPTION. Ya never know about your timing and as I said before, it's nice to know options, especially in Baja.

Howard, speaking of options, what was your last offer for my name on this board? I think it was 2 velvet Elvis's and one Pacifico. Will trade for gold, diamonds or even better, how many Pacifico's?

Yup... First night in an RV would be one of these options, I would think:

Posada Don Diego, Col. V. Guerrero
Los Olivos (next to Jardines), San Quintin
Cielito Lindo, San Quintin/Santa Maria
El Pabellon, Santa Maria
Sinahi, El Rosario

Thanks to all for the great info and maps!! Irene at Posado Don's went out of her way to let us use her personal washing machine and we always try to give her our business when we are anywhere near her area. Thanks again to everybody. Ron

I made the first map in 2005, then another in '06 after a few places changed names and I found Mama Espinoza's museum to add.

The one I added above has all the restuarants highlighted...

The map is to scale... I used Google satellite close ups to place the businesses in relation to each other and the highway route.

Obviously, there are more changes the past 4 years... Perhaps the biggest is the addition of the Turista Motel located across the highway from #38, Baja's Best.
