I understand that there are two campgrounds in San Ignacio--one RV park and another with tent camping among the date groves. Anyone stay there?
What about camping at Laguna San Ignacio during whale season?

Ignacio Springs Bed & Breakfast

We stayed at the Springs B&B--It's right on the water, with campsites scattered here and there amid palms. No charge for the use of kayaks and a
boat--a plus if you have kids. The Canadian couple running the place are experienced hosts, also knowledgeable about things to do locally, and the
breakfast served family-style is simple but very well done. I recommend it highly.
