Would love to tour La Paz via bicycle...probably a good 3-4 of us! Where can we rent some bikes? We are coming in via cruise ship on January 12Bajatripper - 12-28-2010 at 02:12 AM
There's a bike rental place on the street on the south side of the Hotel Perla, which is on the malecon just north of the municipal pier. There's
another bike rental shop three blocks south, also just a half block off the malecon.BAJACAT - 12-28-2010 at 08:19 PM
Kat, from La Paz Malecon to Balandra, that would make a perfect bike ride...have fungnukid - 12-29-2010 at 11:32 AM
Biking to Coromuel is very nice and the bike rental shop is open early and late. But biking to Balandra no, it's too dangerous on the road passing
pemex and Pichilingue on a bike. Have fun!acadist - 12-29-2010 at 07:03 PM

I wouldn't bike in La Paz, the drivers are very aggressive, I got honked at and flipped off when I stopped for pedestrians.Bajatripper - 1-2-2011 at 03:10 PM

Just keep in mind the ferry schedule, as the Pichilingue-La Paz section of that road can be a bit disconcerting with a lot of trucks coming up behind
