Year-end Update on PAW Animal Clinic – Mulege

Saludos to all Nomads and their friends who have supported the PAW clinic this past year as we have worked to re-open after Jimena. As 2010 comes to an end, we wanted to share with you how we are doing and to thank you all again for your generosity.

There is no doubt that without the outpouring of financial and material support of many, many people since January, we would not be back in operation this season. Special thanks goes to Cliff Taylor who has been incredibly generous in providing the clinic’s physical facilities. And of course, nothing would be possible without our team of dedicated volunteers who put in an incredible number of hours to get the clinic open by December 6th.

This past month, we have been functioning on a “light” schedule as we work out procedures and get oriented to our new home.

After just six full surgery days and four half clinic days, we’ve already seen over 150 animals! 85% are from Mexican owners. We’ve spayed and neutered 39 animals and given over 150 vaccinations. And to think we haven’t even gotten up to full speed yet!

Again, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped us. Please let your friends and neighbors know we are back in operation and making appointments.

We’re open Tues and Thurs for surgeries (8:30 am-2 pm) and for medical problems (2-3 pm), by appointment (cel: 615-103-4049).

On Mondays, we take drop ins for vaccinations, worming, grooming, etc from 9 am-12 pm.

We are located 1.5 miles south of the Pemex station on Highway 1. The building has a sign that says "Mini Storage" in green painted on the wall.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

¡Les deseamos un próspero Año Nuevo!
