Chrisx,

You are not being harassed. Just put on your filter and be patient. Pick and choose the help that is offered according to how it resonates with you. Some will eventually give you the information you are requesting.

To be a successful, intrepid Baja trekker, you can't be totally without research and information of your own. Hands on experience, or should I say feet forward, one at a time, is the way most of us gained our experience.

You have to be independent too. If Nomads can help, that would be a bonus...perhaps a plan B.

By the way, the suggestion of an ABC bus is a good one.

No beef with the Canadians, damn good hockey players. The French? That's another story; I still have beef with them for not letting use their air space when we needed to go bomb someone. I do appreciate them letting us bury our war dead over there....after all, we did save their bacon a couple times.

Ok Depends boy, at the time we were in a state of war. Given the testimony at the UN by people who "are in the know", I believe that with the information that we had, bombing Iraq was the correct thing to do. Nobody knew that all this data was conceived in some back room by Dick and friends. GW did the right thing with the information that was fed to him. Has the war been mismanaged? yes. The "we were in a state of war" part to me means that we did not know if there was going to be more terrorist attacks on our soil. Did we screw up? sure, someone did. But if I remember correctly even the UN gave us green light to displace Hussein...the Iraqi, not the American President.
