Bit the financial bullet and imported our vehicle. We received the plates and stickers but no instructions other than a verbal from a middleman
saying don't worry about the stickers. Observing other vehicles, we see mixed placement of the stickers and stickered plate.
Can anyone tell me which window, which corner the stickers should go? And is the stickered plate to go on the front or rear?
Mexican plates, mexican insurance, mexican drivers license. It feels good. After six years of frequent trips to Cd.C with no problemos.....NOW we
will probably get pulled over there. (-:

CP, I think they're pickier about whether the stickers are there at all, more than exact location. I followed what I see on the streets, the larger
license plate number sticker definitely is supposed to go in the rear window & the smaller year tag/sticker in front. I put them both on the
passenger side....lowest possible to not impede my view in the rear & upper highest & as close to window edge as possible in front. Clear
visibility is my prime consideration.
You'll only get the yearly renewal stickers from here on out. (I actually have 2 in front, one for tenencia [new car tax] & the current year tag)
I always remove the old tag & replace it, but I see cars around here who only have about 50% visibility because of all the prior year stickers
all over the windows & I've seen vehicles with 6-8 plate number stickers all over the rear windows from all the former owners/plate numbers
assigned over the years!
I have noticed that when they have current tab checks here, the police's eyes always look right & left upper front as their starting point &
no one has ever commented about my placement, so unless you slap them on your side windows & then ride with the windows down, I think you'll be
fine!
If you care about straightness, get'em on right the first time, because the stick'em is 100-lifetime grade....it adheres to the window, so you can't
take it off & reapply.

I was with a friend in La Paz once who was stopped for not having her sticker in the right place...other than it was supposed to go in the rear window
I can't tell you where on that window...but obviously they do care where. good luck on finding out.
