I am trying to get most recent road condition report from San Felipe to Gaonzaga Bay. I heard some patch work has been done recently I am going Sept
22 thru Oct 8. Any fishing reports too?

If you haven't heard before then, post back in a couple of weeks and I'll have an Up-to-date first-hand report for you.

Are you Stan?
Since there is SO much information at Baja Nomad... I suggest using the search engine at the top of the board and type in what you seek... Otherwise,
just scroll back down the various forums. Information here goes back over 2 years.
I was over that road last December... got a hole in th e center of a new tire! Of course, I was driving full speed and hadn't aired down at all! But,
it was COOL because my daughter found a banded gecko sleeping under a rock where we had the flat. Then I enjoyed the time with the tire masters at
Laguna Chapala as they made an emergency patch.

Just got back from a trip to the Enchanted islands. The road from San Felipe to Puertecitos does have new asphalt on it. It is good to about 5 or 6
miles past the doctors office. The last 15 miles to Puertecitos is still real bad. I blew out a powersteering line in my 03 F350 4x4 and I had an
aftermarket steering dampner. When you see the dips comming go slow, some of them have major problems. Still no gas in Puertecitos(thats no news).
The fish are out at the islands and off shore right now. We did great on the lepoard grouper while spearfishing. See the snorkeling section of this
board for more details.
All in all the road to gonzaga still offers the same prob- well we will call them challanges that it always has.
To be honest I kinda like that piece of s--t road.
When Im worried about accidently jumping my truck I know Im where I want to be...
