My wife and I were birding by quad several miles up an arroyo west of Los Barriles. While walking to a pond we know of I was
stunned to see this bird. We saw one like him in Alaska and, being true to it's name, this guy wandered to Baja Sur. A rare sight for sure. The
Wandering Tattler, a member of the sandpiper family acutually got it's name from the habit of tattling on approching preditors by screaming loudly,
warning other animals as it departs.

I really like this little guy! I played a bunch enhancing it but went back to the original for my new desktop photo.

What do you use for lenses? Camera, been doing it long? Welcome. I'm going to enjoy your birds.

BC, My go to camera lense is a Cannon 100-400 IS. Yes, my wife and I have photographed wildlife for years all over the world.
