I pulled up anchor in front of the Mision Hotel and headed south... about 30minutes into the cruise...we heard the whale blow off the port side it
was a Fin whale and he was close....we followed in a circle about 20minutes.

alleybenito.......Very nice. It's not unusual to find whales close offshore from Loreto. Here's a pic of a finback I came across one day returning
from fishing with Loreto in the background. The mission can be seen in the upper right.......
