A fishing cruiser washed up on the beach about 11pm tonight. I saw it drifting about 20 feet from shore but there was nothing I could do but call the
Hotel.
It is a sad sight......

awwww poor Margarita. That is why the order came down to beach all pangas so there were no losses like this. It will be an interesting morning on the
beach there I bet.

Careful Woody....you are probing into someone's "secret" area.

Did this boat drift from its mooring or did the sailors ditch at sea?

It had broken lose from it's mooring. It could have been much worse, it is very rocky just to the North of where it landed.
They were on the beach last night with a front end loader trying to pull it up on the beach. I watched for a while, they broke the chain a couple of
times but they did manage to slowly inch it up on the beach where it sits this morning.
Yes woody, we have had surf here the last few days, some of it looked ride-able, it's mostly a shore break though. I can't tell you where it is over
the Internet but I'd be happy to take you to it some time....problem is, it seldom goes off......dt
