I think I'll buy a Polaris and build myself a camper on the back of it. Maybe something like a CALLEN Camper. I could call it the MINI CALLEN.
Here's a rendering...

Callen Campers are great! I see some Nomads names on the testimonial pages.BajaRat - 2-16-2011 at 04:15 PM

McFez,
How about a link? That looks like the perfect vehicle for the truly frugal Nomad.DENNIS - 2-16-2011 at 04:40 PM

I had a Callen Camper which was nicknamed the "BIG UNIT" by fellow Nomads and Amigos de Baja. I owned it for about 5 years and spent many hours, days
and weeks traveling in it in Baja. They are built VERY sturdy and hold up to Baja punishment. They build several standard models or you can have them
build you a 'custom' model as I did. They can build it almost any way you want - there's almost no limit as to what they'll do - money I suppose being
the X factor.
I'm not sure how many Nomads have owned them, but I do know several who did and I think they were mostly satisfied with theirs.

I grew up with Scott; the Callen's are great people.
I even worked there for a few months in the early 90's. If you bought a camper from there around that time and the caulking is all wacky, blame me!Marc - 2-16-2011 at 08:42 PM

For that much comfort, you'll have to a riding buddy to drive separately.
