veracruz looks like it has seen better days...many buildings were in complete disrepair and abandoned ...but it has a party spirit that is catching
..the zocalo is absolutely popping and buzzing

I want to visit Veracruz. I've heard it feels like another country; more Caribbean.

Every time I hear or see "Veracruz" I can't help thinking of Gary Cooper and Burt Lancaster.
