Just got back from a whale watching tour with Shari. We had perfect weather where we were. It was raining up north. Camped the first night just
south of Escalera Natica. Then headed south for some great surf. We met Shari at Scammon's on the 19th for a whale watching tour. The whales gave
us quite a show. And thanks to Shari for informative insight. Then headed up just north of Sta. Rosalillita. From there home. We can't wait to get
back down.
I'll post pictures when I figure out how to post an album.

Yea Woody, I know to keep surf shots on the low down, but like you said, you know where we were and they are not considered much of a secret. Still,
I don't advertise.
Maybe see you in the water down there. We are going down on April 2nd.woody with a view - 2-26-2011 at 12:12 PM

even DK knows there are no secrets. except for the ones that are repeatedly outted at BN.com to 1000's of monthly "unique" visitors. you know, where
your mother in law told you of the BN.com, where they have maps to all of the cool, out of the way surfspots, with GPS data?
what's your point? if you are trying to divert attention from the one on the top of your head, it's not working....
U2U actually was used in the link you so proudly tossed out here. BTW, if you want to get any waves to yourself in the coming decades, maybe you'll
let old threads rot.

I noticed the young ones in the panga. How did they do? Still trying to get my wife to okay a trip with our girls (~4 and 5 years old).
I love the picture of the empty boat and you massaging the whale!brewer - 3-3-2011 at 10:55 AM
Brian, the kids did very well. They totally loved seeing the whales. My kids are 2 1/2 and 5. Keeping the 2 1/2 year old from climbing all over and
bumping the bottom of the boat was challenging. Apparently the whales don't like the noises.
That was my wife on her own boat. After our morning trip with the family, she loved it so much as to go out again. There was no one there in the
afternoon so she got the boat to herself. And that was President's day weekend. It was uncrowded and mellow. We're doing it again next year.
