Here is a GPS track I made on 2/12/2011. I was using a 5.0 sail and a 96 LT board. The total length is over 30 miles and it took about 2 hours with
a stop on the island.
It takes about 1 hour from the LV camp to the Hot Springs and about 20 minutes to the island with another 20 or so back to the camp.
There was a dead whale shark just South of the light house on the island.
