you can spend the day fishing with a buddy between the small islands and swelter in the heat to later return to the camp and close family and friends,
some new, for a round of cervezas and fishcleaning and, later, dinner preparation, and the line of your sand chairs standing along the shore calling
you to sit and listen, together, to the tiny waves on small stones and sand granules, a small swooshing sound that accompanies the jug of cheap
tequila that is making the rounds as the small crabs and a single octopus crawl along the shore looking for tidbits while the moon passes over the
eastern horizon, a fingernail moon, that offers little disturbance to the millions of stars in the lonely late night sky and you find that you have
done this to the point that you no longer miss the hubbub of the major city you realize you are running from.
