Auto-upholsterer in Ensenada

Chapala-ex - 3-15-2011 at 05:20 PM

Just bought an Expedition with leather seats. Their condition is not good so need to replace all upholstery. May have to drop down to cloth if cost and color matching issues exist. Looking for recommendations from Nomads with recent experience in Ensenada. Thanks for your recommendations.

I strongly recommend Tapiceria Vega, on Hidalgo, #533. Phone is 173 4522, cell 044 646 144 5554. He speaks some English (despite having had a shop in Contra Costa for 14 years); son is fluent. Great prices, tremendous work. He made the interior of my '90 Suburban look brand new. Tell him the guy from Rancho Packard sent you.

it was called "TUCK & ROLL" and they used 2 pieces of metal venetian blinds to stuff the cotton into the rolls (pleats). if you wanted it to last for any lenght of time you took your own thread to them from the US.
