Ferre-mar de Loreto and new Bakery

willyAirstream - 3-24-2011 at 11:15 AM

Ferre-mar de Loreto has moved east 2 blocks on the north side of the street, across from Elec Romanos. The new Ferre-mar is fully stocked, has more clerks and is very organized, as well as great advice and friendly service. ( and a free T shirt for "good customers") We also discovered a new bakery 2 doors down from the gringo high end food store, close by. The fresh baked bread aromas will empty your pocket of pesos very fast and it was all delicious. Baguettes, onion rolls, and rustic loafs were today's specials. Great presentation, all fresh and mouth watering.

I just love it when our fellow BN's takes the time to share their town with us.

Looking at the photos is second best to being in Baja.

Wish San Felipe had a decent tackle shop

I thank you willyAirstream

Get to the Bakery around 8am in the morning when they bring out the fresh banana bread and cinnamom rolls:biggrin:

Remember they are closed on Mondays...

tiotomasbcs - good meeting you too. Fishing for dinner has been good. Putting together a live bait tank - that emptying buckets every 10 minutes got old, real fast. Yeap, Yet another reason to live in Mulege, easy trips to Loreto and Santa Rosalia.
Mc - following my mentors lead ( pompano)
Mike - not only tackle, but fiberglass supplies, trailer parts, engine parts, diving equipment, boat accessories, commercial fishing gear etc. They have a main store in San Diego and can order anything you need, quickly. And a plus, english is spoken here.
LaTijereta - "I can hear the voices from my house" Great line! see you at 8!
