It seems like he has a lot to share with other thinkers so he shares the wealth.

And he uses his name!

cristobal - 8-25-2004 at 01:48 PM

All of us know why, and he does as well, yet nobody dares to say it out in the open.

Bob and Susan - 8-25-2004 at 04:15 PM

He does have a LOT of knowlege.

We like his posts.

and we do need information from the "dark side":lol:

bajalera - 8-26-2004 at 08:50 AM

Jesse, not "all of us" know why. For example, I don't. So for the benefit of us uninformed, why doesn't somebody say so right out in the open?

Lera

I thought it was

jrbaja - 8-26-2004 at 09:19 AM

getting kinda dull around here too Lera. And I knew I could count on you to try and "rekindle" the fires.:lol::lol:

You are too funny.
See ya if the truck ever runs again:lol:

It's nice to have

bajapablo - 8-26-2004 at 09:31 AM

someone take on the the vocal majority. He creates balance and harmony. He is the ying to the yang, the salt to the pepper, chips to the salsa, the Donny to Marie.

OK, I am pushing it a little too far, but he is a strong (loud) voice for conservatism and he likes to stir the pot. Makes for an interesting post (most of the time). For the semi-silent right he voices some views that are appreciated. He seems well read and he loves baja (and politics) Do they mix? Who cares, it's his opinion. Relax, (easier said than done, I know) it's five o'clock somewhere, and have another Dr. Pepper, Magarita, or Pacifico and take it in stride.

I was referring to myself

bajapablo - 8-26-2004 at 10:03 AM

as semi-silent (politically speaking). Anyway, glad you chuckled, that was the main reason for the post other than to support blackie in his righteous endeavors.

simply.....

capt. mike - 8-26-2004 at 12:02 PM

Blackie knows his caca. If I had my own Board i'd still post here too, por que no?

personally i like a little "edge" now and then as an aside to a lot of the feel goody white bread that a few are promoting here constantly....nuff said.....

elizabeth - 8-26-2004 at 12:44 PM

I guess I'm naive...must be because I'm new to this...but I thought Blackie posted here because he felt like it and anyone can...obviously.
I next to never agree with him, but sometimes I like to read a spirited discourse...then I read his posts...if I don't feel like it, I don't....

bajaloco - 8-26-2004 at 01:40 PM

I say keep it coming Blackie, your posts are not sugar coated but still goes down easy. I wish that I had his talent for debate. The silent majority are listening....

BajaGrrls - 8-26-2004 at 01:59 PM

My experience has been that people take on a whole new persona in a forum like this. My guess is that some of the more outspoken ones online, are anything but outspoken in public. I guess that's why I take everything I read with a grain of salt. It's a lot less intimidating to have a "debate" when you never have to look at someone. I'm not saying this is the case with Blackie, (I don't even know him) it's just a general observation.

The internet...helping ugly people date since 1984.

whodat54321 - 8-26-2004 at 02:14 PM

I take a different stance in that debate online can sort of be like what rock concerts were to me growing up. A place to let the other half live, if you will, especially in these closed-in, politically correct times.

When you actually meet some of these people in person, however, and get to know them individually, the online 'mask' comes off and I find that people are actually quite civil and normal, no matter how they rant or rave online.

Maybe that's a good way to describe the internet chat room world. An electronic masqurede party!:D

The internet...helping ugly people date since 1984.

jrbaja - 8-26-2004 at 03:04 PM

Now that is hysterical!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Actually, this can be quite fun as long as it stays civil. Usually it does.
This is a politically charged time right now but I bet these "activists" would probably forget all about that crap the minute they hit the border!
It's just a place to be heard and listen to others, about anything.
We can even disagree on stuff, not talk to each other, and all that goes along with having these extremely sophisticated mentalities all in one place. hahahahahahaha
The ones that take it personally, probably should!

But, who gives a rats katootie anyway?:lol::lol:

well, I guess I was the 'youngest' victim of blackie's 'black' comments.
An entire page deleted by king-nomad and half a page scrambeld with > *******************,
isn't that something as a result of blackies 'under the beltline' comments?
Well, I immediately got more u2u's than ever before.
All the same advice: "ignore him!" "don't answer" etc.
maybe good advice.
So, Blackie, where is the next black comment of yours > you want me to answer > only for to be deleted?
Does that makes sense to anyone?
Not to me.
That's timewasting.
So I am following the advice from many of you guys: "ignore him".
Otherwise : Y'all have a lill fun today, will you?
