Some have grown comfortably grumpy as they took that look into the mirror that revealed they are actually old.

Younger ones, who are prematurely grumpy, are just so much phlegm. We have the experience to spit them out.

Paying due respect to your elders? Once had a heated discussion with a much older guy, he upbraided me for not "showing proper respect to my elders". As the guy stormed off an older lady commented "He's just as stupid now as he was when he was 15 years old." Something to think about.
