Amazing footage...the scale of the disaster is still hard to fathom.

It's hard to imagine the power of all that water...
And all those people floating in it and being washed away... Very sad.

That was impressive. And scary. I was amazed here in Mexico at the number of campers who stayed on the beach. Not me. You never know.

WOW! Unbelievable footage. What a disaster!

next time, I will be so far away from the beach you may have to hunt for me in the midwest ..... incredible footage and I had no idea of the force of the water. Always imagined one big wave and finito.

yeah right.

May God rest their souls

That IS the mother of all (tsunami) videos ... this is unbelievable footage. I didn't utter a word, except for maybe 'Jesus H. Christmas!", for its entire 5+ minute length. I had to watch this several times to appreciate the detail and the horror. It reminded me of the disastrous Hindenburg film footage. This is one of the most spectacular videos I've ever seen. I can't imagine how many people are dying as this is being filmed. I hope death came swiftly and painlessly. May God rest their souls.

I, too, had to watch it several times. Listening to the sounds really freaked me out. And, like you say, May God rest their souls. Just unbelievable footage.

I just don,t understand why the old man allows such things to happen, did these people deserve this I think not then why??

I,m so impressed by these people, the way they handle themselves,no looting,no riots, just amagine what it would be like in LA under like conditions, the last time I felt like was 9/11

Nature bats last...

If sea levels do rise, it will be Mother Nature's work... as we can see from this video.
